Absolutely. You don’t need to commit to a membership to train with us.You can purchase a £10 day pass whenever you want to use the gym.

Can I come in just for a class?

Yes. You don’t need to be a gym member to attend our classes.PAYG spaces are available on selected classes and can be booked through THE GYM app.

Definitely.You don’t need to be experienced or already fit to join our classes. Our coaches can scale exercises and workouts to suit different abilities.If you’re unsure which class is best for you, just speak to one of the team.

Yes. THE GYM is an official HYROX Affiliate.We offer HYROX-focused training alongside our wider functional fitness and strength programme.

Do I need to have a gym induction?

An induction isn’t compulsory, but we want everyone to feel confident using the gym.If you’re new to training, unfamiliar with any equipment or simply want some guidance, speak to one of our coaches or Personal Trainers.

Do you offer Personal Training?

Yes.We have Personal Trainers available for anyone looking for more individual support, whether you’re completely new to training or working towards a specific performance, strength or fitness goal.Speak to the team for availability.

Yes. Parking is available at our new gym on the industrial estate.Please park responsibly and follow any signage around the facility.

Yes. Lockers are available in our changing facilities for members to store their belongings while training.We recommend keeping valuables secure while using the gym.

Do I need to bring my own equipment to classes?

For most sessions, no.All of the main equipment required for our classes is provided. If there’s anything specific you need to bring to a session, we’ll let you know in the class description.We recommend bringing a water bottle and suitable training footwear.

Like most gyms, there will naturally be busier periods during the day.Our new facility has been designed with significantly more space and equipment to make training comfortable even during popular times.

Yes.Our reception and members’ area includes coffee, cold drinks, refreshments and a seating area where you can relax before or after training.

Yes.Our new reception and lounge area has been designed as a social space as well as a gym reception, giving members somewhere to sit, grab a drink and catch up before or after training.

We offer dedicated coached sessions for younger members, including Kids Strength & Conditioning and Teens Strength & Conditioning.Age restrictions apply to general gym access, so please contact us if you’re unsure which option is suitable.
